Current trends and future of Crystallography
in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Materials Science

The workshop should summarize main topics of modern crystallography as represented by the commissions of the International Union of Crystallography

Presentation of commissions and their subjects

Active contributions at the workshop are only by invitation. There are no contributed talks. Invited speakers are members of the International Programme Committee of the 25th IUCr congress in Prague.

Most of contributions during the workshop should be within 15 minutes without discussion. Depending on the commission type, the talk should start with a characterization of the subject and possibly streams of the activity of the commission (example CAC – two basic streams: aperiodic crystals, modulated structures, or CPD – structure refinement from powder diffraction data, real structure study, in-situ studies of different types). This should be followed by a few selected highlights achieved in the last years and closed by possible indication of future development. During the presentation or at the end proposed keynotes and microsymposia for the IUCr 2020 congress can be briefly commented.

Each IUCr commission should send written contribution - paper before March 1, 2019
